One Finger Method Lessons

The main idea of the One Finger Method is to reduce the complexity and flatten the learning curve enough that nearly anyone can play in this style. The experienced guitarists will likely require no lessons after the Introduction to the One Finger Method As an experienced guitar player myself, having begin my own lessons more than 35 years ago, I have been playing in this style for more than 5 years now and in the lessons, I give valuable pointers that most guitarists will not learn anywhere else.

Lessons will cover the basics through more advanced playing techniques. I'm adding all the little tips and tricks I wish I had when I was just beginning. We will cover the following topics:

  1. How to read a chord Chart
  2. How to read Tablature and One Finger Method annotations
  3. How to innovate and interpret One Finger Method annotations
  4. How to  transcribe songs by ear into One Finger Method Annotations
  5. How to identify the key, and the box of chords

Lessons are accompanied by diagrams, pdf and video where applicable. Often we will study one or more songs that will demonstrate the core of each lesson.
